Sheet metal for offshore structures

Steel Sheets for Offshore Structures – High Resistance to Extreme Conditions

Offshore construction steel plates are specialist materials designed for the construction of drilling platforms, offshore wind farms, ships, and other structures operated in extreme environmental conditions. They are characterised by high strength, resistance to marine corrosion, and excellent mechanical properties, thereby ensuring long service life and structural safety.

Our offer includes offshore plates with various thickness ranges and steel grades, tailored to the specific requirements of the marine and extractive industries.

Steel sheets for offshore structures – resistant to marine conditions

Thickness Range

We offer steel plates for offshore structures in the following variants:

  • 3 – 200 mm
  • 6 – 100 mm

Thanks to a wide range of thicknesses, our steel plates are suitable for both lightweight construction elements and the most demanding, heavy load-bearing structures.

Offshore Plate Grades

Our offer includes high-strength steel grades that meet the stringent standards of the offshore industry:

  • S355J2+N – Sheets with enhanced resistance to marine conditions, intended for structures exposed to strong mechanical and environmental loads. They offer excellent weldability and resistance to low-temperature cracking.
  • S420G1/G2 +M/QT – High-strength structural steel, ideal for offshore applications requiring the highest load-bearing capacity and durability. Through thermomechanical treatment (+M) or quenching and tempering (+QT), it provides an optimal combination of strength and material fatigue resistance.

Offshore Sheet Piling Applications

Offshore steel plates find extensive application in the construction of marine structures that must withstand extreme loads and aggressive environments:

  • Drilling and extraction platforms – supporting elements, foundations, superstructures
  • Offshore wind farms – turbine towers, monopile and jacket foundations
  • Ships and specialist units – hulls, decks, structural elements
  • Hydrotechnical constructions – sea bridges, breakwaters, quays

Thanks to their high strength and resistance to saltwater and variable weather conditions, offshore steel sheets guarantee the longevity and safety of operated structures.

Why Choose Our Steel Plates for Offshore Structures?

High resistance to marine corrosion – minimising maintenance costs
Excellent mechanical properties – ensure the safety and stability of the structure
Wide selection of steel thicknesses and grades – adapts to different design requirements
Meeting industry standards – materials certified to international standards
